Enjoy a New Year day trip featuring Hakone Ekiden viewing, lunch, and a relaxing hot spring bath on Saturday, January 2, 2027, the day of the race’s outbound leg.

Choose from three dining plans: Teppanyaki Geihinkan, Soba Kihinkan, or Mikawaya Ryokan.

Cheer on the runners from a dedicated viewing area along National Route 1, then unwind in the hot springs at Motoyu Mori no Yu.

■ Event Details

Date: Saturday, January 2, 2027 — Hakone Ekiden Outbound Leg
Price: JPY 8,800 per person for each plan, including tax
Includes: Lunch, access to a dedicated race-viewing area, admission to Motoyu Mori no Yu, and a logo towel
Reservation deadline: 12:00 noon on Friday, January 1, 2027
Reservations will close once capacity is reached.

■ Teppanyaki Geihinkan Plan

Enjoy a Matsusaka Beef Steak Lunch, served with rice, soup, salad, and fruit.

Check-in and lunch: From 11:00 a.m. at Teppanyaki Geihinkan
Viewing area: A dedicated viewing space along National Route 1, such as the footbath area
Parking: Hakone Kowakien Yunessun parking lot

Please note that this plan does not include a live teppanyaki cooking performance.
You may be seated at the counter. Specific seating requests cannot be accommodated.

■ Soba Kihinkan Plan

Enjoy an Unagi Mabushi Rice and Kihinkan Soba Set Meal in a historic building.

■ Mikawaya Ryokan Plan

Savor Mikawaya Ryokan’s special Matsusaka Beef Sukiyaki Set Meal, then watch the race from a dedicated viewing area in front of the ryokan.

This plan includes one parking space at Mikawaya Ryokan per reservation.

Viewing area: A dedicated viewing space along National Route 1, in front of Mikawaya Ryokan
Parking: Mikawaya Ryokan — one vehicle per reservation
Parking hours: 10:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

■ Schedule

From 10:30 a.m.: Parking opens at Mikawaya Ryokan for guests who have booked the Mikawaya Ryokan Plan only
From 11:00 a.m.: Check-in and lunch at Teppanyaki Geihinkan and Mikawaya Ryokan
From 11:30 a.m.: Check-in and lunch at Soba Kihinkan
Around 12:30 p.m.: Staff will escort guests to the viewing area for their selected plan
Approximately 12:50–1:20 p.m.: Watch the race from the dedicated viewing area
From 1:30 p.m.: Proceed to Motoyu Mori no Yu and enjoy the hot springs

Please check in at the dining venue specified in your reservation.
Race-viewing times may vary depending on the progress of the race.
Guests on the Mikawaya Ryokan Plan are asked to make their own way to Motoyu Mori no Yu. If you are using the ryokan’s parking lot, please move your vehicle out of the lot by 2:00 p.m.

■ Parking Information for the Mikawaya Ryokan Plan

Parking at Mikawaya Ryokan is available only to guests who have booked the Mikawaya Ryokan Plan.

Parking hours: 10:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2027
Vehicle limit: One vehicle per reservation

When making your reservation, please enter your vehicle model and license plate number in the remarks field on RESERVA.

After watching the race, please move your vehicle out of the Mikawaya Ryokan parking lot by 2:00 p.m. Guests are asked to make their own way to Motoyu Mori no Yu.

・Guests arriving by car for the Geihinkan or Kihinkan Plan should use the Hakone Kowakien Yunessun parking lot.
・Guests arriving by car for the Mikawaya Ryokan Plan should review the parking conditions above.
・Food photographs are for illustrative purposes only.
・For children’s eligibility and rates under the Geihinkan and Kihinkan Plans, please check the respective reservation pages. No separate children’s rate is available for the Mikawaya Ryokan Plan.
・Please refer to the respective RESERVA reservation pages for cancellation policies and other terms and conditions.
・The plans may be changed or canceled depending on the status of the race, traffic restrictions, weather conditions, or other circumstances.
